Letters. Logic. Grow.

How to play
  • Pick a difficulty at the top: EASY is a five-letter word up to EXPERT at eight. The clear middle row is where you type. The shaded top and bottom rows hold clue letters that stay hidden until you reveal them.
  • Type your word and press Enter. Any word is accepted for now (there is no dictionary check yet).
  • Green means right letter, right place (plus 10). Yellow means right letter, wrong place (plus 5). Grey means not in the word. Each letter scores only the first time you find it.
  • Each column is a hidden three-letter word whose middle letter is one letter of the answer. Tap a numbered Clue box to reveal that column's top and bottom letters for minus 5 points.
  • Green letters lock in place. You get five guesses. Solve within five to keep your score; run out and the round score drops to zero (or stays negative if clues put you below zero).

Guess the hidden word. Open clues for hints, but each costs five points.

UNORK is a word puzzle that turns guessing into a game of strategy. Your goal is to uncover a hidden word, five to eight letters long depending on the difficulty level. What sets UNORK apart is the row of numbered clue columns. Each column hides its own little three-letter word whose middle letter is one letter of the answer. The result is a constant tension between guessing boldly and buying hints.

Letters, logic, and a little nerve, that's UNORK.
