Every game on Playega is built from scratch, not licensed or templated, because the fastest way to lose someone's interest in a puzzle is to hand them one they've already half-seen before. A few games follow the daily-ritual format that made word games popular in the first place, one puzzle, once a day, the same puzzle for everyone, with an archive to catch up on if you miss a day.
Playega's games span a few different kinds of thinking. UNORK, WORDgps, and OSM work with words and language: guessing a hidden word from shifting clues, navigating from one word to another one letter at a time, or identifying which language a word comes from. sortIQ and GRIDLOCK lean toward pure logic and categorization, arranging clues into the right order or tracing letters and sorting categories inside a shared grid. iQPAD turns an ordinary calculator into a deduction puzzle by hiding half its keys and making you work out which digit is which. NIM is a centuries-old strategy game rebuilt with a clean, modern interface. SWIPE is built for quick, repeated rounds rather than a single daily puzzle. New games get added when there's something worth adding, not on a fixed schedule.
Playing also earns Tokens, a simple point system tracked per player, with a public leaderboard and, from time to time, a real prize for whoever reaches a milestone first. None of it is required, every game works exactly the same whether or not you ever create an account.
